Cricket World Ratings 21st July 2024

The first test between England and the West Indies was a one-sided game, won by the hosts.  The second game proved an engagingly close battle for the first two and a half days; and the West Indies still appeared to have a chance relatively late on day four, but thereafter they collapsed and the final margin was almost as large as in the first encounter.

  1. Australia     280
  2. India         252
  3. England       196  +6
  4. New Zealand   124
  5. South Africa  122
  6. Pakistan       81
  7. Sri Lanka      32
  8. West Indies     4  -6
  9. Bangladesh   -152
  10. Zimbabwe     -277
  11. Ireland      -319
  12. Afghanistan  -343
One more game remains in the series, with England heavily fancied to complete a clean sweep.
